A Round of Thanks

By | January 7, 2017

After all of the giving at Christmastime, including hand stamped holiday cards, the next round of cards to go out are, of course, the Thank You notes!

Pear Thank You

This year we sent Sherry and her family a box of pears, so it brought a smile to my face when I opened this handstamped thank you card from her. This is a retired Stampin’ Up! image, but we keep the stamps we love and use them over and over.

She also said that she thinks this was a Sale-A-Bration offering from a while back; if that’s the case then Sherry would have gotten this stamp set for free for submitting a qualifying order. Sale-A-Bration is a promotion that we all look forward to during January and February of each new year, so we’ve just started the latest one – look here to see what is being offered now for free, with a $50 qualifying order!

Jam Thank You

Sherry and her family sent us a selection of berry jams for Christmas, so I thought it would be fun to follow her lead and send a thank you card that would reflect the gift sent.

I used the Jar of Love photopolymer stamp set (141587) and the coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits Dies (141490.) These two products come in a cost-saving bundle, too (142342.) One of the most amazing things about these sets are the number of elements that are included – 37 photopolymer stamps, and 17 dies in the matching framelits set. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again – if these were the only stamps and dies you had, you could keep yourself busy for a long, long time!

Here are the colors that I used on my Berry Jam Jar card:

Click on any color swatch to see what other products, in addition to ink and cardstock, that are offered in these exclusive colors.

Here are the supplies that I used to make my card. (The online ordering Code for January is PHYMS6BS; use it and allow demonstrator contact and I will send you a reusable hand-stamped thank you card.)

Price: $110.00

Remember that through March 31st every $50 purchase will earn you free Sale-A-Bration gifts! Check here for your choices. And be sure to look at the new Spring Occasions Catalog, too!

The shape of a pear is so pleasing, somehow, isn’t it? Jars also: probably just food related for me! It is fun to see the cards you guys rustle up for each other, and how you manage to make your stash produce something so appropriate. Also, I have to say, I think both gifts sound soooo nice!
