Apothecary Art Birthday Card with Labels Collection Thinlits Frame

Here is another card made with stamps and accessories that are on the Retiring List, so time is of the essence if you want to get these before they’re gone! The retiring stamp set is Apothecary Art, and it will¬† be manufactured at least through May 26th, but the Labels Collection Thinlits Dies, the Festive Piercing Templates, and the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder will be only be available while supplies last.

This was one of my swap cards for the Stampin’ Up! Convention in Salt Lake City in July 2013. It’s pretty easy to see how I constructed the card, but I will tell you that I used Early Espresso ink on Whisper White card stock, and then used blender pens to softly color the flowers and leaves with Pink Pirouette and Old Olive inks. I matted the image with a frame of Perfect Plum card stock, cut with the Labels Collection Die, and pierced it all around with a template from the Festive pack. I mounted the piece onto embossed Pink Pirouette card stock with Dimensionals and the ribbon is 5/8″ Whisper White Organza.
