I got this surprise in the mail yesterday; this month I am celebrating my five-year anniversary as a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! and it’s nice to be remembered and recognized!
Ann Clemmer, Gladys Landon and me at a Stampin’ Up! demonstrators’ event in Vacaville, CA.
Actually, this is my second five years with the company, but the fact that I originally started in 1998 and left in 2003 was not due to any dissatisfaction with Stampin’ Up! I loved the company then as I do now, and I was running a very successful business. However, we had a family health crisis that required my complete attention for more than two years so I resigned at that time. When life settled down again, I was happy to rejoin SU! in 2010 and I am looking forward to the next five years and beyond!
Sure, Stampin’ Up! is about great rubber stamps and images, ink, card stock and papercrafting tools, but it’s also about relationships. I value the friends I’ve made in my group, the 24/7 Stampers headed by Ann Clemmer, and also the fun women that I stamp with in my Hostess Stamping group as well as at my other stamping events.
If you’ve ever thought about becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator yourself, talk to me. It’s a decision that I’m glad I made – twice!
