My son John is an “authentic fan” of the Golden State Warriors NBA team, and since he is celebrating his 30th birthday today, I decided to have a little fun making his card:
Not only does this basketball jersey card reflect my son’s new age and decade, it’s also the number of Steph Curry, one absolutely amazing member of this fantastic team!
It was easy to make this card by cutting the 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock in half the long way, putting the fold at the top of the vertical card. I used the next to the smallest die from the Ovals Collection Framelits to cut the arm and neck holes. Then I used Snail adhesive on Daffodil Delight 1/4″ cotton ribbon to outline the armholes and neckline. I cut the numbers using the new Large Numbers Framelits Dies.
What color of yellow did I use for the numbers and the inside panel, you ask? Why, “Crushed Curry” of course!
