One of the best things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is that I get to teach what I love. I’m already an elementary school teacher at my other job, but when I get together with friends and family for a stamp workshop, it’s more like recess – a time for fun and play!
I told you about my friend Wanda in an earlier post; while I was on vacation in October I stamped with my friends and family at her house in Colchester, VT. This is a once-a-year get-together for us because I live way on the other side of the country. But the fun thing is, I’ve known Wanda for over 40 years, and way back when I was in college and she was a little kid, who would have thought that down the road we would be sharing this papercrafting passion that keeps us connected over the miles?
So imagine how pleased I was to receive this beautifully designed holiday card from Wanda, who is one of the newer stampers in our group. I was able to help her get started, but obviously Wanda has learned a lot on her own, because I know I didn’t teach her about embossing powder and the Heat Tool!
Here are some of the products that Wanda used to make her Merry & Bright card. The Pretty Paisleys Embossing Folder (141833) is being retired, but you can still get it through January 3rd (or while supplies last) at a 20% discount ($6.00 reg. $7.50.)
When placing an online order, use Hostess Code 44VNGYRC in December and allow demonstrator contact so I will know where to send your reusable handstamped thank-you card!
