Reggie and I celebrated our wedding anniversary on April 18th, and my sister Karla was out of town working at the time. She meant to send a card, but got a little behind, so today I got a nice surprise; this whimsical hand-made card came in the mail from her:
Karla is not a stamper, but she is a paper-crafter, and she loves good quality Stampin’ Up! supplies like the rest of us. This card is made with the 2014-2016 In Colors of Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow card stock, and she also used the 3/8″ Hello Honey Satin Stitch Ribbon that is on the Retiring List now. She also used the Retiring Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder for the background which is now 50% off ($3.98) and the Texture Boutique Machine that is retiring and is being offered for 30% off ($20.97.)
Here is another special card that Karla made for us a few years ago, with a collage technique using some vintage papers and a period post card:
Ten points to anyone who can comment on the blog and tell what they know about the location of the post card that Karla used in her artwork!
Here are the supplies that were used to make the Anniversary Card. Click on any photo for more information:

I like the Alice in Wonderland stamp.
I like those images too, Cindy.
Is the place still there, Kathy? I don’t remember it; the only thing I remember is that our house was supplied by well water, not town water, and Mrs. Nourse was the lady who owned the well.
It is just down the Road from me on Mallett’s Bay. We used to go swimming at Nourse’s as kids.
