Jar of Fireflies

You know that when summer starts to draw to a close that fall is approaching, but there is always that longing to hold on  for a bit – like the desire to capture the spark of a firefly in a jar to enjoy the light for just a little longer.

The Jar of Love set is the epitome of summer love. I shared a card made with this set earlier in July but I now feel the need to pick up these stamps again before the leaves turn colors and we begin our holiday cards in earnest.

Who can resist these bright denizens of the dark summer night? I gave mine shiny lights made with gold sequins pulled from the spool of sequin trim. The Night of Navy background embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder conveys countless more winging on the horizon.

And here are the supplies that I used to make the card:

Price: $110.00

Here is the card I shared in July; looking at all thirty-seven pieces that come in this photopolymer set, what can you think of to make with it? Click on the picture of the Jar of Love set above to see larger images of the stamps.

Thanks! I agree, looking through my closet, anyway, navy wins. I’m dressed all in blue today with a dark blue apron over everything!
