Label Me Pretty in Powder Pink

By | June 5, 2017

The Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack (144131) includes all five new 2017-2019 In Colors in an array of beautiful floral motifs:

Fresh Florals in Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink and Tranquil Tide.

I decided to use a couple of the Powder Pink floral designs paired with an image from the new Label Me Pretty stamp set (143858) to make a classic birthday card:

This new color is aptly named; it reminds me of a pretty pink powder compact that my glamorous grandmother might have used in the 1940’s – think Max Factor, Elizabeth Arden and Estee Lauder!

I paired the Powder Pink with Early Espresso, Old Olive and Whisper White for a fresh and classic color combination:

I used the Petal Burst embossing folder to make a background strip of Powder Pink cardstock on which I placed one of the Label Me Pretty images, punched out with the coordinating Pretty Punch:

I used leaves and berries dies from the Pretty Pines Thinlits set in Old Olive and Vellum!

I colored the leaves and flowers quickly with Calypso Coral and Old Olive Watercolor Pencils (141709) and activated the colors with Blender Pens. The leaves and berries die cuts were taped to the back of the punched out sentiment, and then the entire piece was centered onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Here are all of the supplies that I used to make my Powder Pink Label Me Pretty card; you can order these, including all the brand new products,  through the online store by clicking on any image:

Price: $110.00

Which of these new products do you love the most? All of the new 2017-2019 In Colors are at the top of my list!
