As I mentioned in a previous post, I recently finished making a set of fifteen Post-It Note boxes for a friend who lives on the East Coast. She has now given them to her colleagues and team members at work. The original idea for the boxes came from my friend Nancy, who gave me one that she had made, and when Debbie saw it, she immediately asked if I could produce a set for her co-workers!
I started out by making one complete box, then I made the rest, leaving them flat and unassembled.
After putting the boxes together, I kept them in a Stampin’ Up! shipping box for safekeeping from the cats! I attached the lids last, and decorated each one differently. Here they all are, before shipping out to their destination Back East.
This was a really fun project since I used different Designer Series Papers, cardstock colors, images and embellishments on each one. And I’m happy to hear that the recipients loved their gifts, particularly enjoying the unique designs. I usually make cards, so this was a good “out of the box” experience for me!
Here’s where I do my work, on an antique table, surrounded by my Stampin’ Up! supplies.
