More Special Handmade Birthday Cards!

By | November 23, 2016

I have two more special cards to show you that were handmade for my birthday, one by Nita Eddings in my 24/7 Stampers demonstrators’ group and one by my sister-in-law Mindy:

Nita used one of the new stamp sets and coordinating dies from the annual catalog, the Shooting Star set (141619) and the Sliding Stars Framelits (141820) that cut a groove or a circle to allow a sliding element to move along the card – moon, shooting star, paper airplane or in this case a bumblebee!

Here’s a little Stampin’ Up! video  with instructions on how to put together a slider card, using a couple of metal washers and foam dimensionals for the spinner!

Mindy made a clean and simple card with a retired Stampin’ Up! Happy Birthday sentiment in black and white with an accent of blue.

Here are some of the supplies that Nita used to make her Bumblebee Slider card. Click on any picture to see a larger image, to read more or to order online:

Both are great. I am a big fan of clean and simple and the white is crisp and lovely. But a whizzy bee? C’mon! How great is that?
