Any day is a good day to receive a Thank You note, but it’s especially nice when you get two, and they are both handcrafted!
This first card, made by Mindy, is so sweet that when I saw it, I wanted to make one just like it:
There’s a lot to love here; hand-drawn hearts on scraps of patterned paper, (something we’ve all saved up) then cut out and arranged with little star sequins and a hand-drawn line border on kraft cardstock. This is so charming, I’ll bet you want to make one like this, too! Thanks for the great idea, Mindy.
This second card was what we call a happy surprise:
It was a thank-you note from Aunt Arlene, but the card was made by Sherry! She signed and dated the back, but I think I would have known, anyway, because this tree image from the retired Season of Friendship set is a favorite of hers. Maybe Sherry gave Aunt Arlene a packet of her handstamped cards as a gift – a great way for any stamper to share her art with others.
Mindy and Sherry, thanks for the love and care that went into your card art creations!
