My daughter Anne received some more hand crafted birthday cards from her stamping aunts:
I love both of these cards so much!
Mindy used a cute set from last year’s holiday offerings and the addition of the punched out black cardstock circles, top and bottom, add additional polka dot whimsy to this winter scene.
This card of Sherry’s is a delightful combination of colors, textures and patterns. She made her own background paper using some of the Swirly Scribbles die cuts as pattern elements, as well as the die cuts themselves as focal points on the card front. There are mini colored rhinestones and other rubber stamp images in black. It reminds me of a night sky, maybe the Northern Lights, which can sometimes be seen in Vermont, where Mindy and Sherry live.
Anne appreciated both of her handstamped birthday cards!
Right now Stampin’ Up! is having a Close-Out Sale with some items that are deeply discounted from the Clearance Rack while supplies last, some Excess Inventory items that will be on sale only through January 3rd, when they will go back to their regular price, and some Retiring Products from the Holiday Catalog that will not be available after January 3rd, or while supplies last, whichever comes first.
One of the products that is on the Excess Inventory sale until January 3rd is the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies that Sherry used on her Northern Lights Birthday Card!
This die set is on sale for $18.90, which is 30% the regular price of $27.00! Read all the details or order online here.

If you do place an online order, use the new Hostess Code for December 44VNGYRC and be sure to allow Demonstrator Contact so I can send you a reusable Thank You card!
Yes, I wanted to be adopted by your family as well 🙂 What wonderful cards. Loving those swirly dies! I think my Santa list is full though. Better save some pennies.
Have a great weekend Valory.
Hugs Flo x
Thanks, Flo; I will have to tell the girls they have some fans in far away places!
Am I too old to be adopted by your family?! All those lovely handmade cards…
Lol! The more the merrier!
