Silent Night Star

Snow Star 1

I’ve been working with the new Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies from the Holiday catalog and decided to combine them with the Star Framelits for a different look. I also used the coordinating Jingle All the Way stamp set and the Softly Falling embossing folder, and everything worked together so nicely. I used several layers of foam Dimensionals to give it extra depth.

I stamped the sentiment and the snowflakes in the sky with white craft ink, and as I told Lynne over at the Adorn blog, I thought I was done, but then later that day I saw her “Jack Frost” post and the star card that she had made. All of the glitter and sparkles on her lovely card inspired me to add some Dazzling Details glitter glue to my white snowflakes, and here is the result:

Here are the products that I used to make the Silent Night Star card:

This is beautiful, the combination of dies, stamping and embossing and not forgetting the pretty sparkle.
You are generous to acknowledge my card, thank you.
