I have a new friend who recently discovered Stampin’ Up! and has been having so much fun with stamps, paper and ink! In fact she decided to sign up under me as an SU! hobby demonstrator so she can take advantage of special discounts and other incentives on her new favorite papercrafting supplies! Patricia was so excited about Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper, in particular, that she decided to make me a “bouquet” of boxes, each unique and designed to say “thank you” for some help that I had offered her when she was just getting started with Stampin’ Up!
Patricia made six containers, some decorated with SU! Designer Series Paper. She told me that she loves working with SU! paper vs some of the other papers that she had on hand. I have to agree; not only is SU! paper high quality and heavy weight, but it coordinates with our exclusive colors and stamp designs!
Here are all the boxes, opened up:
The light blue box in the back contains purse pack tissues. And the watermelon paper box held a watermelon-flavored lip balm; great attention to detail!
I want to say a special “thank you” to Patricia for taking the time to make all of these sweet boxes and filling them with gifts for me.
I did make a special gift for her, too; a Post-It Note box using the same template that my stamping friend Nancy used on the one she made for me a while back. Unfortunately, I was so excited about getting it to Patricia that I forgot to take a picture of it! But the good thing is, I also made fifteen other Post-It Note boxes for my friend Debbie, who ordered them as gifts for her staff at work. I do have pictures of those and will be posting them later, after Debbie receives them in the mail (she wants to be surprised – I made each one different!)
Isn’t it wonderful how papercrafting, and Stampin’ Up! in particular, can bring so much joy to our lives? It’s a simple thing but it just takes a little time and creativity to warm someone else’s heart. Indeed, this is the essence of the Stampin’ Up! mission statement, our “Statement of the Heart”:
To love what we do and share what we love, as we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments… in this we make a difference!
