It’s September 1st and today is the first day to order from the new Holiday Catalog!
I got together with a couple of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from my group recently and we each had a few new products from this catalog to make some early samples with, along with holiday items from the regular catalog. We made several cards apiece and shared them with each other, so I will be showing these cards made by my friends and me in the next few posts.
The first two cards were designed by me, and they both use the new Pine Bough Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (141831.) I love this new embossing folder!
Other products from the Holiday catalog include the Mint Macaron grosgrain ribbon on the first card, part of a tri-color set that also includes Delightful Dijon and Rich Razzleberry (142021) and the greeting on the bird card which is part of the new Paisleys & Posies photopolymer stamp set (142196.)
The pine tree stamps are from the Foxy Friends photopolymer stamp set, stamped in Emerald Envy ink and cardstock, then die cut with the Perfect Pines Framelits Dies. The Gold Glimmer paper stars and little red ornament are part of that Framelits set too.
You might be able to see that I’ve highlighted the pine boughs with a Clear Wink of Stella brush for a subtle glimmer! The white sequins are from the Metallics Sequin Assortment and the birds are from the Birds & Blooms Thinlits Dies. I’ve used Emerald Envy cardstock on this card also, with accents of Real Red and Dapper Denim. The red and white banner on my greeting was easy to make with the Banner Triple Punch.
