The Fifth of November

While my friends in the UK celebrate Guy Fawkes Night and the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot, in the Degree house we are celebrating Reggie’s birthday! I think my husband likes that he was born on this day, though, because of the fact that John Lennon added the line, “Remember the Fifth of November” as an afterthought at the end of one of his songs.

When I make cards for my family, I use whatever stamps and materials I want, and this card is no exception. While most of the products are currently available, the Collage Alphabet and Number stamp sets are retired, as is the Brushed Gold card stock.

I’m a packrat when it comes to materials; the gold stars were left over from a commissioned project that I did last May. I cut a couple extra, but would I throw them away? Never!
