“It’s like deja vu all over again.”
I know, we’ve been here before, but it’s so much fun we’re coming back again!
I showed you a couple of cards a few weeks ago that I had constructed from some of last year’s commercially produced Christmas cards that were sent to us. I enjoyed the process so much that I made these two additional cards:
I took a picture of holly leaves and berries from last year’s card and cut out a square, then using my Layering Squares Framelits Dies I matted it with a red scalloped square and a matte gold square. The Holly Embossing Folder is beautiful on Wild Wasabi cardstock, and the classic Merry Christmas greeting in Real Red ink is from the Star of Light photopolymer set.
On this one I used the matte gold cardstock with the Holly Embossing Folder and Cherry Cobbler ink and cardstock. Again, the greeting is from the Star of Light photopolymer set (so many great greetings in this collection!) It is stamped on one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. The blue cardstock that I used for the card base is Marina Mist, a good match for the background in the St. Nick and reindeer picture from last year’s card.
On both cards I have used Seam Binding Ribbon and the matte gold cardstock, both of which are retired products, but since I still have them, they are lovely to work with and I am happy to use them.
Here are some of the current products that I used on my Deja Vu all over again cards! When ordering online, use the code 44VNGYRC (and allow Demonstrator Contact) if you would enjoy receiving a reusable handstamped thank you card from me:
